Jennifer Morecroft

I qualified as a dental surgeon from Bristol University in 2007 and have worked in hospital and general dental practice. I have a special interest in minor oral surgery and was involved in foundation training for newly-qualified dentists.

I became the practice principal at Wedmore Dental Practice in 2018.

I have a young daughter so most of my spare time is spent at the playground or jumping in puddles. I also enjoy cycling, swimming and playing my violin.’

Alison Chapman

I have been a dentist for over 20 years and have always aimed to increase my skills. I worked in hospital positions in children’s dentistry, special needs, oral surgery and oral medicine before entering general practice. I recently gained a postgraduate certificate in endodontics (root canal treatment) at distinction level.

I have a calm and patient manner and hope to help even my most nervous patients feel at ease. I have 2 teenage daughters and enjoy all outdoor adventures.

Agata Milewicz

I joined the practice in June of 2024..

I qualified in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Sheffield University then continued my education,  achieving a Diploma of the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in 2019.

Since qualification, I have enjoyed a number of roles, including associate positions, Dental Officer in Special Care Dentistry, Specialty Dentist at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital, and she continues to work as a locum dentist for the MOD.

I qualified from Birmingham in 2009 and went on to work in London, where I gained considerable experience in general dentistry before moving to the South West in 2014. Continuing my professional development, I am currently studying for a diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.  I am in the process of completing sedation training, which will allow me to offer IV Sedation to patients in practice. In addition to dentistry I am also qualified in Facial Aesthetics.

I am friendly and approachable, putting even the most nervous patients at ease.

Outside of work I have a young family and lively springer spaniel to keep me busy!

Sally Cantwell

My career started as a dental nurse in 1978, then working in the children’s department at Eastman Dental Hospital until I moved to Bristol. I qualified as a dental hygienist in 1981and have worked in many environments; dental hospitals, private practice and in NHS practices. I currently work in three practices around the Bristol area.

I have recently undertaken courses to extend my knowledge in other areas, qualifying as a Massage Therapist in 2004.

I qualified at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1988. After having a family and moving to Somerset in 1992, I continued to work part-time in private practice.

My interests include being a qualified dance and aerobics instructor, and in 1998 I was very proud to be a British Aerobic sport Champion.

Georgina Roynon

My career in dentistry started in 2016 when I trained and qualified as a dental nurse at an NHS practice in Wells. I then progressed and gained further roles and responsibilities by becoming the lead dental nurse.

After working in Wells for 5 years, I decided that I wanted an even more patient focused role, to expand my knowledge and learn additional skills, so I trained as a dental hygienist at Essex university and qualified in 2023.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, travelling, attending classes at the gym and socialising with friends.

Nicola Wrangham

I joined the practice, having worked for 15 years in varying roles in both commissioner and provider organisations of the NHS. I am extremely passionate about working in a healthcare environment and have seen first-hand the dedication and commitment staff have to their patients and to improving patients’ health, wellbeing and care. I feel privileged to have an opportunity to work in my local community where I hope I can make a real difference in improving the services and experiences for our patients. My role here is to develop and manage the team, supporting them to provide outstanding patient care. I also oversee the strategic and financial management of the business, as well as ensuring that a safe environment is maintained for all. I am responsible for making sure that a legal, ethical and organisational guidelines are adhered to by the team and that the practice complies with industry and government guidelines.

Life outside of work is equally busy as I have two young children and I love spending time with my family. I live in Wedmore and enjoy getting involved in everything this fabulous community has to offer.

Katie Berry

Business Development Manager

Having spent the  previous 16years of my career working in a variety of roles within the NHS management of General Practice, I was given the opportunity to join Wedmore Dental Practice as an Interim Practice Manager, initially to cover maternity leave, then to continue as Business Support Manager once the maternity leave has ended.

I am enjoying working with Jen and the team to support them so we can develop the practice for the community.  I have a creative side, which I am hoping to use to assist with the marketing and practice development.

Outside of work I have a young family who takes up most my time, along with enjoying hobbies such as painting, drawing and water skiing.

I joined the Practice in 2022 after qualifying as a dental nurse.  I really enjoy working here because of the great team, along with the friendly patients I get to meet.

Having 2 teenage daughters and a pet pug keeps me busy, but I enjoy spending time with my family and friends outside of work including a variety of hobbies especially spa days and watching films, with a cheeky bit of chocolate!

Moving from my home county of Cornwall in 2017 to live with my partner in North Somerset, I qualified as a dental nurse in 2021 and started here in mid 2022 after  working at an NHS practice.  I enjoy working here because of the tight nit team we have, which has given me a sense of community whilst living away from my own.

I enjoy being creative in my spare time and whilst being at work, utilizing my skills to assist with the social media for the practice along with decorating at Christmas! Photography and anything creative is my passion in life.

I started work as a dental nurse when I was 19 years old.  After having a break to raise my family I returned to dental nursing in 1996.  I then went on to achieve  a post qualification course to become a qualified oral health educator.

I thoroughly enjoy my job and take pride in looking after all the patients.  I’m very excited to be returning to Wedmore Dental Practice  in September 2024.

I started at Wedmore Dental Practice in 2021 following some time off on maternity leave. I have a background in customer service and I love meeting new people.

I work three days a week at the practice and spend the rest of the week chasing around after my two small children! I have always loved to travel; I still really enjoy my holidays but nowadays spend my time a little closer to home.
