Here at Wedmore Dental Practice we will now offer dental visits in the comfort of your own home.
At Wedmore Dental Practice our vision is to ‘share our passion for health’. Our reputation is built on providing personalised care for every patient.
While we are currently unable to accept new patients at our dental practice, we are still offering new patient registration for housebound individuals who require dental care at home. If this service applies to you, please complete the registration form and indicate your need for home dental care. Our reception team will contact you to assess your clinical needs and inform you if we are able to register you for this service.
About us…
The Practice Principal, Jennifer Morecroft, has long recognised the lack of domiciliary dental care provision in Somerset. As a team we are passionate about healthcare and we observe the impact that poor oral health can have on general health outcomes.
We are proud to introduce Wedmore Dental @ Home; private dentistry in the comfort of your own home. Domiciliary care will be available on Tuesdays and delivered by our associate, Dr Agata Milewicz.
Meet the Team…
Agata Milewicz has been working as a dental associate at the practice since June 2024 and extensive experience in dental care. In addition to working at our practice, Agata also serves as a Clinical Supervisor at the Bristol Dental School and Bridgwater Dental Access Centre, where she specialises in paediatric and special care dentistry. Assisting Agata will be one of our domiciliary-trained dental nurses.
Agata is excited to work with the practice on this new venture, supporting and caring for patients in the community who need dental care at home.
Services available at home…
The following services will be available as part of our domiciliary service:
- General exams and cleaning
- Oral and denture hygiene instruction, including supply of toothbrushes, toothpaste and other cleaning aids
- Construction of new dentures and other denture work: repairs, additions and adjustments
- Simple extractions
- Basic fillings and dressings
- Smoothing of sharp teeth and fillings
- Fluoride varnish application to treat decay and sensitivity

please include your telephone number when registering your interest.
Our reception team will make contact; they will ask a few questions to ensure the domiciliary service is suitable for your needs and you will be asked to complete a medical history form. One of our nurses will then contact you to by phone to ask more detailed questions about your home, support needs and treatment requirements.
Our reception team will make contact again to book an appointment and take a surcharge fee over the phone. The surcharge fee helps us to deliver a safe and effective domiciliary service.

Nursing & Residential Homes
We also offer this service to residents of nursing or residential homes. We can provide individual visits, or if multiple residents require dental care, we can arrange for that as well. For further information, please contact our reception team, who will be happy to assist you.
